Japanese America

I saw a pretty amazing article that was tagged on Facebook by my friend, Jeff Bayliss, title The Great Sushi Craze of 1905, Part I.  Pretty amazing stuff.  The late 19th Century/early 20th Century, in spite of what some people might think of as the Good Old Days, was really a hot mess.  This article actually lead me to this upcoming play.  Also a pretty amazing story.  It’s more personal because it’s similar in composition to my marriage, although mine is Jewpanese.  Still, Japanese man/White woman.  We got married outside of our town, but it was mostly because we found a prettier spot.
